The game was a big hit and a lot of fun! Our only problem was we didn't allow ourselves enough time to play. We had to rush towards the end, but that was our fault. I'd say for 40 people, allow at least 45 minutes to an hour for the game.

This was a great change of pace fromt he traditional "Yankee Swap" that I normally do when I host my yearly party. This was so much more fun and keep everyone entertained even longer because one time around wasn't enough!! Great game!

We always have a gift exchange at our family Christmas party. This gave our exchange a fun twist. Each guest started with their own gift. It made for lots of fun and laughter as they exchanged with each other using the slips provided. After all gifts were exchanged, the first person opened their gift. The second person could steal the gift from the first person or open the gift they were holding. We did this with each person there after until all gifts were opened. It made this part of our party very fun and exciting! Everyone loved this game.

This really added a new and fun twist to our regular "white elephant" gift swap. Several people commented that is was a lot more fun exchanging gifts with the cards.

Everyone absolutely LOVED the uniqueness of this gift exchange idea. We each had 3 slips and at the end it got down to who had the present they wanted the most if there were more than one person with blue eyes etc. They all wanted a copy! I referred them to you. A big party maker!

We played this game with all adults - it was a lot of fun, everyone was laughing and enjoying the swapping of gifts as directed on the cards - We would definitely play this again.

How it Works

3 Easy Steps To Printing Your Party Games

Pick your game, purchase, and personalize* it by typing your own text right onto the screen.		Print out your game on your color printer, as many printouts as you like, using letter size paper. Then print the answer key.		Gather a few pens and pencils and enjoy your party!

Rules of Play

Ask guests to each bring a wrapped gift to the party. It’s up to you to set a limit on price.  There are 45 description slips included. For more players and to have several rounds of play, just print extra slips to cut and pass out.

Gather all players in a circle, each holding a wrapped gift. Each player picks a slip. Choose a player to start off the game. That player opens their gift and then reads their slip aloud and chooses someone who matches the description on their slip. They swap gifts with that player, who in turn will then read their slip and do the same. Play continues until all players have read their slips....then it's time to open gifts! More detailed instructions are available to print after purchase.
